Developing the positioning of a Ukrainian startup in deep-tech

Lviv Hydrogen is a Ukrainian startup working on metal hydride storage technology for efficient and safe hydrogen transportation.

Didn’t get it? We often skipped physics classes too, but the idealers love challenges. So we figured out what was what and everything became clear – we needed to explain the complex concept in simple words.

Positioning

Lviv Hydrogen is a startup working on an ambitious project in the energy sector. In order to attract attention and stand out from the competition, we developed a well-defined positioning and a clear Unique Selling Proposition (USP).

Identity

The idea was based on the concept of the ” anti-balloon” because the startup’s product is not really a balloon, but rather a metal hydride “sponge” that absorbs 27.2 times more hydrogen than competitors’ gas tanks.

The pattern is also based on the concept of the geometric antipode of the balloon and the porosity of the metal hydride alloy.

The logo has a secret meaning – it starts with sharper letters but ends with lighter and rounder ones, illustrating our “from complex to simple” or “complex in simple words” approach.

By the way, we have also visualized a prototype of the “antiballoon” technology, so that potential investors can see what they are investing in.

Pitch deck

We developed a new presentation, taking into account the needs of our audience. We rethought the structure and content to make it more understandable.

It is important for visual communication to be less scientific and more attractive to the audience in order to convey all ideas and messages as effectively as possible.

The work is based on research and identifying the needs and expectations of potential clients, so we created a presentation that better meets their needs and ensures successful communication.
